Sensahead (RIP)
Every year, NYU hosts Innovention, a student start-up competition in which you assemble a team, develop your idea, and pitch it to judges for the chance to earn venture funding. This year, I was excited to be able to make it into the competition with my start-up, Sensahead.
Sensahead aims to increase the detection of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) through the use of a low-cost blood test. We are currently in the prototyping phase, and looking forward to develop our product further. Keep up with us at Sensahead.
This project really allowed me to use my technical background with my entrepreneurial spirit, seeing the development of our device as a scientist and as a salesman.
Over the past few months we made it through the Semi Finals of NYU’s Inoovention Competition, seeing it as a valuable learning experience. From pitching, to developing market segments, to thinking on our feet, it opened our teams eyes to the world of entrepreneurship.
We are also involved in NYU’s Prototyping Fund, and looking forward to showcasing our newest prototype early this May!
